Your future career prospects are important, and we’re here to help you prepare for the world of work.

Our Employability Service offers careers advice and organises events including employment workshops and company visits. Meanwhile, our Employment Bureau can help you find part-time work that fits around your studies.

Careers advice

Got a career in mind, but not sure which course will help you get there? Or maybe you’d like to discuss your future career options?

We offer one-to-one appointments with our experienced careers advisers via phone, email or face to face. This support is available to you before you join us, throughout your studies and after you graduate too. Email career@northwest.ac to book an appointment.

Build your career

Our Employability Service arranges employer events and workshops to help you develop essential job-related skills and make you more appealing to future employers. Come and see our Faculty Employability Advisers for help with your CV, job applications, interview preparation, and anything else to help you prepare for the world of work.

You can also explore our Employability Service portal for a huge amount of online careers resources, and the chance to start working towards the University of Northwest Employability Programme.

Work while you study

Register with our Employment Bureau for part-time work to fit around your studies. You’ll earn money while you learn new skills to add to your CV and impress future employers. Email career@northwest.ac to find out more.
